Toughook Coat Racks

Step 1: Attach Hooks to the Mounting Board

  1. Identify the hooks that do not have a wall mounting hole behind them.
  2. Secure the hooks to the board using the pre-drilled mounting holes and the included hardware (#6 × 1 inch or #8 × 1 inch screws, depending on hook size).
  3. Do not install the hooks that have wall mounting holes behind them at this stage.

Step 2: Secure the Rack to the Wall

  1. Select the appropriate wall anchors for your wall type (drywall, wood, concrete, etc.).
  2. If unsure, consult a local contractor or professional for guidance.
  3. Position the mounting board against the wall at the desired height and ensure it is level.
  4. Mark mounting hole locations using a pencil or by drilling small pilot holes through the mounting holes.
  5. Secure the board to the wall using the predrilled hidden mounting holes:
    • 3- and 6-hook racks: Mounting holes are behind the two end hooks.
    • 9-hook racks: An additional hole is behind the center hook.

Step 3: Install the Remaining Hooks

  1. Once the rack is securely mounted, attach the remaining hooks (those with wall mounting holes behind them).
  2. Use the same #6 or #8 screws to fasten them in place.
  3. Ensure all hooks are firmly secured and give them a slight tug to confirm stability.

Step 4: Final Check

Ensure the rack is level and securely fastened to the wall.

Confirm that all hooks are properly installed and tightened.

That's it! Your PerfectFit coat rack is now fully installed and ready for use.
